OMG!

So i haven't been writing alot on here. But i have some news...i, jamie, am getting married! yay!

So i'm going to try to keep things posted as i'm going through my wedding process.

Justin and i got engaged on August 4th. He proposed to me at dundee falls under the falls :) it was fabulous. Right now we have alot of things planned: Caterer, Cake, DJ, venue, even the dress and bridesmaid dresses.

Now we kinda just have to wait til closer to finish up decorating and such. Soon we will be registering and booking a cruise (which is seeming to be a tougher thing than we figured). Let me just say, i can not wait.

Justin is being so helpful. Calling people and booking things. even when i haven't asked i'll see him and he'll say "i called so-and-so today" its so great that he's being so helpfull. especially since i hate calling people. He is just so great.

Yesterday we spent all day looking at cars. Mine is about to take a poop on me, so hopefully we can find something for a decent price that will be good for the long haul. that doesn't really have anything to do with weddings, but it's just so great to know that i'll be taken care of, and that i don't have to worry about making it on my own anymore.

Anyway, i am still trying to figure out the guest list. That's probably the most difficult thing. Because people assume they're invited, and you don't want to hurt anyone's feelings. But i'm trying to keep the budget really low. So far so good, but i hope no one is hurt if they don't get invited, because it's not that i don't want you there, it's just we're trying to watch how much we spend. Don't want to make Ruth and Lar-Bear go broke! :)

Plus! how do you decide who to invite? Some people you haven't seen in a long time, but you used to be really close with them. Others, you have to invited because your parents were invited to there kid's wedding...it's just really hard to keep the list down, and why make it go up if you know you probably won't talk to that person after you get married anyway? i dunno. it's just really tough. i just want to be surrounded by people i love, and that i know love me.

Well, i will leave it at that for now. I will keep you posted as we keep going along with things!
